Can my existing manual gate be automated?
Many existing gates can be automated if the structure is sound, movement is smooth and the mounting geometry is suitable. Should I choose a sliding gate or a swing gate?

Are automatic bollards suitable for security entrances?

The protective measures depend on the gate and a site risk assessment. They may include photocells, safety edges, obstruction detection, guarding and suitable control logic. Photocells alone do not cover every crushing or trapping hazard. Safety devices and manual release must be checked during commissioning and servicing.
What should I do if my gate stops closing or reverses unexpectedly?
Keep people and vehicles clear and stop repeated operation. From a safe position, check for visible debris in the travel path or blocked photocells.
